Alan Julian, Ben May, Pierre Joseph-Dubois, Max Porter, Rob Swaine and Alex Wall all missed the game due to injury. Lee Minshull returned from suspension to make the bench.

A scrappy first half at saw Aldershot open the scoring thanks to a deflected shot from Chris Walker, the ball just out of the reach of on loan Bromley keeper Chris Kettings.

Bromley responded immediately. Ugo Udoji sending a great cross into the box where Holland was first to the ball with a fantastic header directed into the far corner past Smith in the Aldershot goal.

The second half delivered more of the same with both sides creating few chances. However, the game turned late on when Jake Gallagher’s foul on Louis Dennis resulted in a straight red card. Bromley pressed for the winner, and a last minute through ball from Fuseini to Moses Emmanuel saw the forward take a touch before hitting a strike at goal form close range which was saved by the keeper before being cleared by the defender.

It could have gone either way but both sides were left happy with a point.
