Bromley ended their 4 game losing streak with a 0-0 stalemate at Meadow Park.
Chances in the first half were few and far between. David Martin had a shot blocked and Louis Dennis put an effort over the crossbar with the outside of his boot.
At the other end, a misunderstanding between Alan Dunne and Ross Flitney resulted in them both going to claim a high ball, and Dunne getting a head to it, but luckily, as the ball dropped towards goal, a Wood attacker poked it wide.
In the second half, things livened up a tad, though a draw was always on the cards.
Bromley came close after Wood failed to clear a cross into the box, and Lee Minshull saw his shot spilled by goalkeeper Grant Smith, though he managed to reclaim it at the second attempt as the ball spun closer to the goal line.
Ben Chorley headed a Wood attempt off the line as time drew on, and Flitney pulled off an incredible save to deny Ben Nunn from close range in the 88th minute.
In reflection on the game, both sides will settle for a point in what was an uneventful game.
