Match Report: Dulwich Hamlet 4-2 Bromley

  • Men's

Neil Smith went with a first team eleven for the first half in a 4-3-3 system before a complete new eleven started the second half for Bromley. Ugo Udoji features amongst a mix of Academy and trialists including Blair Turgott.

Bromley took the lead on twenty three minutes after a well worked move resulted in a fantastic little through ball from O’Connor to Cunnington who fired a great shot into the top corner past a helpless Edwards.

Dulwich Hamlet immediately got themselves back into the game at the start of the second half after poor defending left an easy tap in at the back post for Sandy Cunningham. Gavin Tomlin then gave the home side the lead with a great right foot curling effort from just outside the box.

Bromley picked up a fortunate equalsier when a Dulwich man put the ball past his own keeper but the home side regained their lead thanks to a calm finish from Omar Koroma. Omar Koroma then made it 4-2 to Hamlet with ten minutes to go with a cool finish after more poor defending from the visitors.

Bromley First Half Starting XI: Alan Julian, Joe Howe, Rob Swaine, Jack Holland, Joe Anderson, Connor Dymond (on trial), Reece Prestedge, Thomas O’Connor, George Porter, Adam Cunnington and David Martin.
