Bromley Football Club can today confirm the latest movements amongst the squad, involving Paul Rooney and Reece Meekums.
Rooney, 21, has returned to parent club Colchester United, after spending the past two months with Bromley.
Manager Neil Smith commented; “I’d like to thank Paul, who returns to Colchester now and wish him the best of luck. For the first month, he was nothing short of outstanding, but after my other centre backs regained their fitness, it was hard for him to get back in the team ahead of the likes of Jack Holland and Roger Johnson.”
Meekums, who has spent the past month on loan at Worthing, has had his loan extended for a further month. This time, the Club have included a call back clause, should it need to be exercised.
Smith added; “We’re going to let Reece stay out on loan for now. We’ve got a call back clause in the loan agreement, so if we need to call upon him, we can and he’ll be match fit. Jack Barham has come in and done very well, with two outstanding performances, and I’m sure there’s goals to come from him.”
Everyone at the Club would like to thank Paul Rooney for his efforts, and wish him the very best for the future.
