Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of former Charlton Athletic midfielder Taylor Maloney.

The 21 year old, who supporters will have known as ‘Trialist A’ during pre-season, netted his first Bromley goal in the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace U23s last week, with a crisp finish off the inside of the post.

Having started out in the youth ranks at Charlton Athletic back in 2012, Maloney went on to spend eight years with the Addicks. He earned his first professional deal at The Valley in 2017, going on to make ten first team appearances.

He also enjoyed loan spells at Concord Rangers on two occasions, as well as time in League Two with Newport County, making 16 appearances and scoring three goals, a hat trick in a 7-4 EFL Cup win over Cheltenham Town.

He linked up to train with Neil Smith’s side ahead of the 4-1 pre-season win away to Tonbridge, starting in that match and also featuring against Crystal Palace and Brentford.

The Ravens’ latest addition will wear the number 15 shirt during the 2020/21 season.
