Weekend Raven Round-up

  • Men's
  • Women's
  • Youth

It proved to be another busy weekend for Bromley FC, that’s for sure!

Hayes Lane played host to our Community Trust Family Fun Day as we welcomed Dover Athletic to Hayes Lane in our penultimate home game of the season.

Despite going in front on two occasions, Andy Woodman’s side were forced to share the points at Hayes Lane, drawing 2-2.

However, our Family Fun Day was a success as Owner & Chairman Robin Stanton-Gleaves made an appearance, aswell as First Team stars Omar Sowunmi and Louis Dennis. Both players also had their picture taken with the day’s mascots.

Saturday also saw our U16’s Youth Academy progress to the National League Final after winning 5-1. Finley Roberts bagged a hat-trick and claimed two assists too. The final will be played at Macclesfield this Saturday.

Moving on to Sunday and things got even better. Our Bromley FC Youth U15’s completed the treble by winning back-to-back league titles. It proved to be their third piece of silverware of the season after getting their hands on the County Cup and League Cup earlier on in the season.

Sticking with our Youth set-up, and our U14’s Girls were in cup final action as they took on Kent Football United Youth at the Gallagher Stadium. However, it wasn’t to be and they fell to a 3-0 defeat, but did everyone at the club proud!

To finish a fantastic weekend, it was also confirmed that our Ladies side were crowned champions of the Premier Division with results on Sunday going their way.

Our Ladies will be celebrating their title win on Sunday as they host Comets at 2pm. It’s free entry, all you have to do is claim your ticket here. Broomfields will also be open so make sure you join the celebrations before our Awards Evening.
