Since England’s historic victory in the Euros, attendance records have been smashing across the FA WSL and football pyramid. We would like to do the same at Hayes Lane, where our women’s side, just like our men and under 23s, are currently unbeaten.
Millwall Lionesses are one of the oldest and most recognisable names in women’s football and has a rich history as a pioneering force of the British women’s game. First founded in 1972, they were the first club in the country to be officially affiliated to a professional men’s team in the 1980s, as Millwall FC sought to strengthen their ties with the local community.
Millwall currently play in the London and South East Women’s Regional Football League, the fifth tier of English women’s football. They are on a four match winning streak in their divison, visiting Hayes Lane in rich form.
