Message from RSG

I write having returned from our away game at Gateshead. As I sat with some of you, we saw the completion of our 46 league game campaign which resulted in us finishing in third place, our highest ever League position at this level of football, and with a record amount of points. At the outset of the season, I publicly shared my target for the campaign. This was to finish second or third, and Andy and the boys have delivered that. I am so proud of them, this achievement, and the football club as a whole.

You as a crowd have also delivered, and we hit our target of 30,000 at Hayes Lane, which I originally set back in January. This also is a super achievement, and I’d like to thank each and every one of you. This has made a huge difference to Andy and the team.

However, this now leaves us with the biggest home game in the football club’s history, and I need you all to be there to cheer the team on one more time at home. We now know following league statements over the weekend that we will be facing Altrincham in the Play-Off Semi-Final on Sunday afternoon, and I ask you all to join us and be there. Let’s make the difference and give Andy and the boys our full support on the day.

See you there!
