Nathan Owolabi wins Football Manager competition

Bromley Football Club can confirm that 23-year-old Nathan Owolabi has been appointed Support Performance Tactician as part of our partnership with Xbox and Football Manager.

The club teamed up with the organisations as part of ‘The Everyday Tactician’, a campaign that aimed to give one gamer the chance to live out their dreams at a professional football club.

Football Manager is marking its 20th anniversary and the campaign was created in celebration of the release of Football Manager 2024 (FM24) on PC or console with Game Pass.

The role will involve shadowing and learning from all of our coaching staff, including Manager Andy Woodman, to understand the ins and outs of all the tactical decision-making that goes into preparing a football team for success.

Out of the many applicants, Nathan, who worked at Wembley Stadium as a tour guide and coaches on the side, progressed through each stage to join the team here at Hayes Lane.

After winning the competition, Nathan said: “The interview process was a good experience and it was a lot more comfortable than I expected which allowed me to give the best impression of myself.

“This is a great opportunity for me and to be working at a club looking to get into the football league is invaluable to me.

“I can’t wait to get started and begin this exciting adventure.”

Welcome to Bromley, Nathan!
