Bromley beat Aldershot Town 1-0 away from home at the weekend.
Both sides began the game with attacking pressure with both Reice Charles-Cook and Luca Ashby-Hammond called into action.
However, it would be Bromley who took the lead in the early stages after Reece Hannam did well to slot home his first goal for the Ravens.
That was moments after Joe Partington almost got one over his former club, striking wide from distance. Parts’ game was over soon after the opener as he was forced off with an injury and was replaced by fellow ex-Bromley player, Michael Klass.
The Ravens had chances to make it 2-0 before the break with Ethan Coleman heading two corners just over the bar before George Alexander, who scored twice at the EBB last season, raced through on goal before being denied by the Shots’ ‘keeper.
Tyler Cordner almost headed in an equaliser just before the half-time whistle, but Charles-Cook produced a smart save to keep the score at 0-1 going into the break.
In the early stages of the second 45, Michael Cheek was brought down in the box, but after huge penalty shouts, nothing was given.
Charles-Cook was then called into action again and produced a fantastic save to deny a header from close range before Alexander saw his effort saved up the other end of the pitch.
Ryan Glover then struck an effort over the bar shortly before his header was saved by the Bromley shot-stopper.
Cordner then saw a curling strike bend round the post as Aldershot piled on the pressure in the latter stages.
However, the Ravens held on to clinch back-to-back wins and their third clean sheet in a row.
