Bromley Ladies put their recent away defeats behind them win an important win which moved them above their opponents in the table.
In blustery conditions Bromley started brightly and the opening goal came after Rusk won the ball back and played it out wide before good interplay between the three forwards found Holley in the box who calmly took a touch before slotting past the keeper. It soon became 2-0 when Bays broke down the right and cut the ball back to Rafferty from the byline who fired into the top of the net. Bromley went close to a third with several long range efforts but were caught on the break just before half time as an Enfield strikers cross come shot dropped into the far corner of the goal.
In the second half, against an increasing head wind, Bromley had a greater defensive responsibility and restricted their opponents chances well. Enfield did come close with a long range shot which hit the bar. Bromley still looked dangerous on the break and Bays had the best chance to get the third but the keeper produced a good save. Higginson in goal coped well with with the headwind and all balls into the box and a solid team defensive display ensured Bromley ended the game with all three points points.
Bromley now find themselves sixth in the table.
