Match Preview: Bromley FC Women V Newhaven Ladies (H)

Bromley FC Women are in home action for the first time in 2023 as Newhaven Ladies pay a visit to Hayes Lane tomorrow.

The tie is set to be a close encounter as when the two sides met in the reverse fixture the points were shared and both sides keeping the oppositions attackers at bay with the afternoon finishing 0-0.

Tomorrow’s visitors currently sit sixth, level on points with Bromley having played one more game than the Ravens. So far this season Newhaven have won six of their games, drawn on once occasion and lost on six. Their goal difference is -6 having scored 28 and conceded 34.

Of their six home games Newhaven have won on four occasions and lost only once with their other home game being the draw to the Ravens earlier this season. Whilst they have scored on 15 occasions at home they have also conceded 12 times. Newhaven have travelled away from home seven times, wining only twice and losing their other 5 away ties. On their travels they have scored 13 times whilst conceding 22.

Newhaven come into the game off the back of two league wins in a row. Their most recent league tie saw them travel to Steyning Town where they came away 5-0 winners, last weekend. In the last round of fixtures before the winter break, Newhaven beat Bexhill United 4-0, bouncing back from a 2-1 defeat to Montpelier Villa at the start of December.

Why not come down to Hayes Lane to back the team in their first home game of the year. Tickets will be available to purchase on the door, with kick off at 3pm.
