We kick-start October with a bang as we host a double-header at the RELOC8 EM Community Stadium on Sunday 1st October.
After beating Sevenoaks 8-1 at the previous hurdle, our Bromley FC Women are back in FA Cup action, taking on Welling United at 2pm.
Unfortunately the game will not take place on the stadium, having previously committed to hosting a charity game for a worthy cause before the FA Cup round dates came out.
Since the draw, we have looked at every alternative for our Women to still play on the stadium as they usually do for all games. This included earlier or later kick-off times on Sunday with morning and evening times offered whilst also looking at a Friday evening tie or a double-header with the men’s on Saturday, unfortunately all of these options were turned down by Welling United.
As a result spectator space is extremely limited as the game will now take place on the rear Community pitch at 2pm.
The Ravens currently sit second in the league, three points off top and have bagged an impressive 29 goals in just five games so far this season, including five against Montpelier Villa last weekend.
On the main stadium pitch, we’ll be teaming up with Sellebrity to host a celebrity charity game at 3pm, raising money for Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust. Tickets are priced at £12 plus a booking fee.
Celebrities include James Arthur, Jamie O’Hara and Jeremy Lynch.
