Another weekend and another set of Youth Academy games took place on Saturday.
Starting with our U13 Boys, they made the trip to Dartford and came out on top, securing a fantastic 3-1 win against a resilient Darts side. It was a strong performance by the Ravens who clinched victory through three well-constructed team goals, finished off by Black, Caldwell and Suleiman.
As for our U14 Girls, they also tasted victory on Saturday, clinching a convincing 5-0 win over West Ham with striker Nuray Frey putting in a Player of the Match performance.
Dartford were the opposition again when our U14 and U15 Boys took to the field. However, both sides endured different outcomes to our U13s. Starting with our U14s and they found themselves on the receiving end of a 3-2 score-line, unfortunate to come away with the loss after putting in a fantastic performance. Seb Amatai and Danas Jonikas wrote their name on the score-sheet whilst Edward Payton also put in a brilliant display. It was a 1-0 defeat for our U15s after conceding early on, but they did go on to show determination to win the game. However, it wasn’t to be. Zak Lina and Morgan Dullaghan the sand-out performers in that one.
It was a positive outcome for our U16s, though, as they beat Dartford 4-2 away from home. Positive, attacking football saw them cross the line with all three points and even received compliments from the opposing coaches. Dawid Przybylo netted a brace whilst Casey Hewett and Zach Gueham were also amongst the scorers. Shout-out to Charlie Paye who put in a brilliant performance too.
As ever, a huge thank you to Glemnet and Group LK for their continued support.
We wish all of our JPL teams all the best going into this weekend’s fixtures.
