Youth Section: Week 5 & 6 Update

  • Youth

Only four of our Youth Section teams were in action during Week 5 of the season.

Our Under 18 (Second Years) had their game against Welling United called off due to a waterlogged pitch joining our Under 14’s who had no fixture scheduled for this weekend.

Three of the remaining teams continued with their league campaign while our Under 13’s side had the task of defending the Kent County Cup title, a trophy won by Bromley for the past two years at this age level.

The fixture involving our Under 18’s (First Years) away at Greenwich Borough saw the Ravens drop their first points of the season. Despite being two goals up the youngsters were pegged back and a draw was a fair result in the end.

The Under 16’s again showed their eye for goal with a comfortable win against a spirited VCD side.

Our Under 15 side not only dropped their first points of the season but also surrendered their unbeaten run in all competitions with a narrow defeat to Fisher.

The Under 13’s progressed to the next round of the Kent County Cup with an impressive win against Tunbridge.
