We were delighted to welcome winger Charles Clayden to Hayes Lane, joining on loan from League One side Charlton Athletic, in October.

The 21-year-old made his professional debut against Gateshead for Leyton Orient during the 2017-18 National League season.

Clayden eventually left the O’s for Charlton in 2019 and has gone on to make 10 League One appearances during his time at The Valley.

He also enjoyed a month’s loan at Dulwich Hamlet in 2020 before gaining further National League game time last season when he joined Wealdstone. The wide-man went on to make 18 appearances for The Stones, netting against Eastleigh, his first professional goal.
